Lot 1155
Pair of Continental Flintlock Pistols, Early 19th Century
Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Each with a .68 caliber smoothbore 10 in. barrel on a carved walnut stock; brass elements to include the trigger guard, butt cap, shoulder inlay and left side escutcheon; the barrels and lockplates are stamped with an odd, possibly Cyrillic, inscription.

Iron elements are harshly cleaned; the action is tight, but functional, on both pistols; the stocks have some repaired hairlines, but retain a fine appearance. Overall fair condition.
