From the Estate of the late Jack Benson, Raleigh, North Carolina

Based in Port Washington, Milwaukee, Chuck Whitehouse has been creating his nature inspired bronze vessels since 1995. After sculpting his original designs in wax, he then takes the piece to a foundry for mold-making, casting, when finally the raw form is hand-chased and patinated, the part that Whitehouse describes as "keys to the creative development."
Chuck's works have been exhibited throughout the US, including S.O.F.A., Chicago, IL (1998); National Sculpture Exhibition, Golden, Colorado (1996); Scottsdale Arts Festival Arizona (1999); Lakefront Festival of the Arts, Milwaukee (1997-99); and many others. His work has been published in several articles including Southwest Art (July 1999), The Artist's Magazine (June 1999), and Taos Magazine (Spring 1989 and Summer 1990).
