Attributed to Tennessee or Kentucky, circa 1830-1840, two part form, yellow pine secondary, the upper case with an applied flared cornice above a frieze with lower beaded edge, two hinged cabinet doors with molded mullions and six window light each, shelved interior, the base with a pull out butler's desk, the front with applied paneling have a stylized gadrooned edge, the interior with prospect door, two drawers and six pigeon holes above three graduate flush drawers, paneled sides, rounded corners, with distinctive boldly triple scrolled skirt, the edge with scratch bead, central drop fleur de lis, straight tapered rear feet from the stile.

Later felt writing surface; small chip and loss at one spur; pulls likely later but in original holes; some light scratching and wear to top waist surface; overall very good estate condition including original feet and skirt.
