18th century, painted metal face with arched panel featuring figures and castle in a landscape, Roman numerals, second and calendar dials, floral spandrels, the hood with broken arched pediment and hinged glazed tombstone door, turned wood finials, fully turned columns with brass capitals, shaped waist door with molded edge, canted corners, the base with banded inlay on shaped bracket feet from the panel, with pendulum and one weight.

From the Estate of the Late Ruth Edgerton, Chapel Hill, North Carolina Fair-poor condition; paint rubbing and loss to face (originally with maker and location, now barely visible); break and repair to arched pediment; bell strike detached; hood door detached; missing rear right foot; base reset.
