Paris, third quarter 19th century, gilt bronze and grey marble, in the Empire style with central rising fluted column issuing four unfurling acanthus arms, over a lozenge form base with marble panels, acanthus decoration, and figural profile relief medallion, signed "H. Picard" to paw feet underside.
