Large earthenware example by Joe Owen (Moore County, 1910-1986) variegated blue with green runs, decorative band at the upper shoulder, stamped on the underside "JOE OWEN"; The second was made by Billy Ray Hussey, clear yellow glaze with drips, signed on the underside "BH 26".

Hussey pitcher has a 2 in. glued break at the rim and some glaze crazing around the base. Owen pitcher has a small glaze defect below the upper rim.
