Hand painted in the traditional taste with well dressed figures in a lush courtyard, in two parts, consisting of eight full panels of hand painted paper from the early 20th century and two later custom smaller panels, all with applied white washed wood fretworks ends, later canvas covered hinge joints, plain painted back.

DOA 96 x 156 in.; without fretwork the height is 76 in.

Some loose fretwork panels; the screen was custom built to cover a wall and doorway, the fretwork is slightly wider than some panels causing the screen to be unable to close tightly; some small areas of surface wear, but the painted panels are in overall good vintage condition.
