Circa 1800, cherry case with mahogany veneers, poplar and white pine secondary, rectangular top with applied vertical veneer banding at edge and slight rear chair rail overhang, central small glove drawer with burled veneer flanked by two small drawers above three graduated drawers all with applied cock beading, the skirt with inlaid veneer band and boldly scalloped, tall and graceful front French bracket feet.

Light wear and scratching to top surface; glove drawer with wear at escutcheon; pulls are old and in original holes, minor veneer patching and chips at base of skirt and left stile.
