Edo period (1615-1868), long narrow box, with hand forged iron hardware, half moon shaped handles to either end, front side has a long bottom drawer, above on the right two smaller drawers, and on the left side a large interior area with divided shelf that is accessed by hinged lids.

Overall good estate condition; some stress cracking to wood and warping from change in humidity; nice aged patina to wood with some old scratches and water staining especially around metal hardware.
