Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Mid-19th century, consisting of two lidded glass wells on a dark green marble base; all other elements are of gilt bronze and include four winged lion supports, a figural handle in the center and two putti riding dolphins on the inkwell lids.

10 x 18 x 8-1/2 in.

From the Private Collection of the late Elizabeth C. Sager, Raleigh, North Carolina

One well with fractures to the glass; gilt rub to the high points; flaws aside, this remains an imposing decorative accessory.
