1870s, heavily salt spotted stoneware with the ovoid form and tooled lip frequently seen in mid-1870 pots, impressed capacity "2" within bands of incised lines, kiln drips throughout, not signed.

Areas of glaze lift; several gouges; tight hairline from mid-section downwards; quartz pop on the underside.
