Early 20th century, possibly made in Portugal, back painted features with inset glass eyes, not marked. The second pair are English Staffordshire, 19th century, painted features and gilt collars, not marked.

Portugal right facing dog has a foot hairline which extends across the base; English right facing dog has hairlines from the muzzle across the chest and one on the back as well as extensive crazing.
