New England Chippendale Cherry Bonnet Top Chest on Chest

Late 18th century, two part form, white pine secondary, broken arched pediment with fluted plinth and carved rosettes, the upper case with three side by side drawers, the center with relief carved shell above four graduated lipped drawers, the base with four graduated lipped drawers raised on ogee bracket feet.

Fair condition; restoration and repairs throughout; later feet; lower right molding broken and repaired at case side; molding missing to right front side foot; several drawers with cut/patch/repairs to facing and lips; later pulls; two finials present; case sides with shrinkage splitting; molding loss to front left corner of cornice.
