The first an oil on paper laid on board, English school, mid-19th century, unsigned, presented in a gilt frame (Frame dimensions 11 x 14 in.) (very grimy, loss to frame); the second a watercolor on paper, French school, unsigned, mid-20th century, matted and framed under glass (Frame dimensions 10 1/4 x 12 1/2 in.) (some toning to sheet, minor rubbing to frame, not examined out of the frame).
