Late 18th century, the first in bombe form with ornate brass lid handle and escutcheon, brass inlays, opens to a divided interior with twin metal compartments flanking a central metal sugar well (6 1/2 x 11 x 7 in.); the second rectangular form ornate brass lid handle and escutcheon, open interior was once divided into three compartments (6 1/4 x 10 1/8 x 5 1/8 in.).

Both with scratches to veneers. Bombe form with some lifting to inlay; area of wood loss near one hinge; right tin tea bin missing lid; later wood panel base; Rectangular form with some wood loss to beading; some later screws and crack to verso at one hinge.
