First quarter 19th century, both watercolor and bust length profile, unsigned, the first of an elegant lady with curled hair, lace collared dress, seated in an oval backed chair (frame 5 3/4 x 4 1/4 in.); the second of a young boy with skeleton suit with ruffled collar, presented in an a black and gilt eglomise frame (6 x 5 in.).

Both with toning to sheet; some scuffs and wear to frames.
