The first is a storage jar stenciled "C.F. Hetzel & Co/ Cumberland MD" over "2", circa 1875, probably made in PA for Hetzel Grocers (11 1/2 in.) (crazing); a Continental jug impressed "400" (12 1/2 in.); a half gallon jug decorated with a single naive blossom (9 1/2 in.) (handle broken and re-glued; a two gallon jug impressed "WEST TROY POTTERY" above a hand-painted capacity mark, New York circa 1870 (some dings and original potting defects) (14 in.)
