Late 18th century, mixed hardwoods, the first a ladder back with four shaped concave slats, shaped arms, later rush seat, turned front stretcher base (44.5 x 22.5 x 18 in., seat height 17.5 in.); the second a bannister back, turned stiles, shaped arms, later rush seat, turned front stretchers (46.5 x 22 x 19 in., seat height 17 in.).
