Sally Terrell is a retired teacher, having taught foreign languages for 34 years and art for 3 years. She recently discovered the art of scratchboard and is continually amazed at what can be created on an inked board with tools and inks. Sally particularly enjoys doing animals in this medium, as they can be made exceptionally life-like, playing with the values of light and dark to create a very dramatic piece.

Sally has exhibited widely, from the Pastel Society of North Carolina to the Kansas City Zoo.
