Irish artist Ken Hamilton studied at Art College in Belfast. In response to trends of abstract expressionism in Contemporary Art, Hamilton incorporates motifs and methods of the Renaissance into his works.

Hamilton received an award for “Most Popular Work” at the 125th Annual Exhibition of the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts in 2006.
