Mid 18th century, two part form, walnut and burl walnut veneers, oak and pine secondary, applied cove molded cornice, two conforming hinged upper cabinet doors with inlaid raised panel, each door with three bands of herringbone inlay, interior with central hinged cabinet door opening to reveal three small drawers surrounded by (18) pigeonholes and above six small drawers, base of upper case with two pull-out candle slides, the bureau with a hinged slant lid with loper support and book-matched veneered panel and herringbone inlay surround, interior with central prospect door, eight pigeonholes, six small drawers, central slide to reveal well, the case with two over two drawer configuration, shaped dovetailed bracket foot base.
