George III Inlaid Mahogany Serpentine Sideboard

Early 19th century, mahogany veneer, pine secondary, shaped rectangular top with floral vine inlay with barber pole surround and repeating barber pole at top edge, stylized dentil molding at base edge of top board, conforming case with central bow-front drawer flanked by two deep concave drawers with bottle divider to the left, raised on six square tapered legs, the upper stiles with inlaid leaf and lozenge, spade feet.

Restoration and repairs throughout, including: top with shrinkage split (now reset and with several underside medial braces); drawer runners and drawer guides rebuilt; later pulls; center drawer with large cut/patch/replacement near escutcheon; spade feet appear original but are attached with a dowel.
