Circa 1770, circular one board relief carved dish top, batten and bird cage support, turned balusters with donut and key, distinctive ring turned standard with suppressed ball, tripod base, the cabriole legs with notch to underside of knee and standard, ball and claw feet with pronounced knuckles.

Top with some light spotting and wear; all over surface with slight alligatoring; later clasp; one leg with break and repair below knee and metal brace to underside; 18th-century hand wrought metal support brace to underside.
