Eastern Virginia or North Carolina, late 18th century, two part form, yellow pine and oak secondary, applied stepped cove molded and dovetailed cornice, two upper hinged cabinet doors with astragal moldings, louvered shelved interior, the dovetailed desk with a hinged lipped lid with breadboard ends and loper support, central prospect door with scratch bead, the interior with removable base board, eight pigeon holes and six small drawers, leather writing surface, the case with four graduated long drawers with scratch bead, full dust boards, shaped bracket feet.

Later feet; the desk with three later rear back boards; cut/patch to edges of lid; later leather writing surface; 1/2 inch full length cut/patch to left and right case edge of desk (by back boards); drawer runners rebuilt; later pulls.
