Marta Eitler (1922-2017) was an accomplished violinist and music teacher. Born in Hungary, she fled her country as the Nazi regime came to power. She settled in Great Britain where she found success as a professional violinist and music teacher. Her instruments were a 1698 Stradivarius and a circa 1710 Giuseppe Guarneri ‘filius Andreae.'
