19th Century English Sewing Box and Burl Scent Box

Regency sewing box circa 1815, bombe form with tooled leather veneer, gadrooned radial burst lid with marquise form mount and escutcheon, open interior and lower pull out front drawer (4 1/2 x 5 x 7 1/2 in.); the scent box in burl veneers with metal lid strappings, inlaid escutcheon, opens to four compartments lined in blue paper with silk upholstered lid, retaining to reeded glass bottles and a silverplate perfume funnel. Both boxes unmarked.

Sewing box with some abrasions to leather, missing feet, wear to paper intierior; scent box with some tarnish to funnel and chipping to both glass bottle rims, without stoppers, lid lacking finial.
