Early 18th century, hinged single board lid with notched edge, open interior with later fish-tail hinges, the iron clasp marked T.V., the front board with relief carvings of molded arches and stylized acanthus leaves with monogram E.B., the left side of case with upside down small monogram R.S., the right side of the case with small monogram I.S., set on a later custom black painted stand.
