18th century, shaped crest rail with carved rosettes, pierced and carved back splat set within a molded shoe, shaped arms with carved knuckles, shaped arm supports with acanthus leaf carvings, upholstered serpentine slip seat, front seat rail with Chinese Chippendale fretwork which is repeated on the front straight legs with molded foot, dovetailed stretcher supports, down-swept rear legs with inside chamfer.
