Purchased by the consignor from a gallery on Martha's Vineyard

Gail Rodney studied at the National Academy School of Fine Art in New York City, earning a Certificate in Painting. Classes took her onto the city streets where an enthusiasm for plein aire painting began. Early landscapes of Chappaquiddick Island in Massachusetts led to a juried membership at the Old Sculpin Gallery in Edgartown. She exhibits each year there and with the Gallery of Graphic Arts in New York City. She works in oil, pastel, collage and watercolor and also creates artist books illustrating poetry. She is a juried member of the Pastel Society of America and a founder of Art Connects New York and the GOGA group of painters in NY. Her work is in numerous private and institutional collections.

Good estate condition; not examined out of the frame.
