Mid-19th through early 20th century, to include a pair of papier mâché boxes with fitted lids, having gilt Chinoserie figural vignettes on a red ground (2 1/4 in.); a cylindrical treenware box with fitted lid (2 1/2 in.); a rectangular box with rounded corners, fitted lid with linear silver metal radial scrollwork inlays(1 1/4 x 4 1/2 x 3 3/4 in.); (3) rectangular hinged lidded boxes with metal inlays, two with faux bois paint; the longest in ebonized papier mâché (4 in.); (2) black lacquered hinge-lidded oval boxes, the smaller with hand-painted Chinoiserie figural motif, the larger with parquetry inlay (4 in.).

Scattered surface scratches and inlay losses; some gilt rubbing and losses with image degradation.
