Late 18th-first half 19th century, the first in oval form, including (5) hand-painted silhouettes, the first facing right fitted behind glass within a 14KT gold filled ring mount, interior band engraved with inscription "E.E. Barnett '26 / July 1793 Cls '55"; the second of an officer facing left, watercolor on paper, within a silverplate pendant (1 1/4 in.); the third of a Regency gentleman, painted on ivory with "bronzed" heightening, framed within a 14KT gold filled locket, retains woven hair art to verso (1 3/8 in.); the largest of a gentleman, painted on paper, framed behind glass in a rope form silverplate brooch pin; the fifth of a gentleman facing right, painted on porcelain, behind glass within a marquise form silverplate brooch pin (2 in.).
