Attributed to Mordecai Collins (1785-1864), Davidson County, 1810-17, one part form, secondary woods include walnut and yellow pine, broken arched pediment with applied cove molded cornice terminating in carved rosettes and two turned urn finial with acorn tip, central applied inverted-fan reeded plinth above two hinged Palladian doors with molded mullions, shaped shelved interior with scratch bead front edge and triple line plate rail, distinctive inlaid stiles with urn, vine and tulip surmounted by a reeded mushroom capitals, flanked by carved spiral quarter column above an applied reeded waist molding, single long drawer featuring burl walnut and barber pole inlay and inlaid escutcheon above a molded trim above two lower hinged paneled cabinet doors, shelved interior, canted corners, shaped bracket feet.
