Approximately .72 caliber, 41 in. round barrel, the breech with arsenal number 480, year of conversion (1833), crown / FW / N / P; crown over B to left; percussion lock plate stamped NEISSE / S / 1833; walnut stock with stamps to left, crown over FW on left side of butt; brass mounts include barrel bands, trigger guard, side plate and butt plate, each marked with a "P": the butt plate with 1833 at the base plus arsenal numbers on the butt's tang

Working action; powder pits at breech; moderate marks; some oxidation to barrel; mellow age patina to brass elements; very good condition.
