Kristin Calabrese received a BFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, participated in the New York Studio Program in 1998, and received her MFA in painting and drawing from UCLA in 1999.

The artist has had solo exhibitions at the Gagosian Gallery in Los Angeles, Brennan & Griffin in New York, and Michael Jansen in Cologne. Her work is included in numerous collections including Saatchi and The Armand Hammer Museum.
