Late 19th century, England, coromandel hardwood veneers over mahogany secondary, with brass inlay escutcheon and foliate and floral engraved brass inlay top plaque and closure panels; hinged lid opens to fitted compartments lined with purple leather and blue velvet, holding (2) cut glass bottles, (3) glass bottles with silver lids, and (3) glass boxes with engraved silver lids; lid interior with mirror and gilt stamped detailing; lower drawer lined with blue silk; no apparent marks.

Accessories with signs of wear, all bottles with chips, mostly at rims and bases, (1) box chipped, (1) bottle missing; fitted interior compartment with slightly loose panel; lower drawer with broken compartment panels; moderate desilvering to mirror; wear to leather; chips to wood on lid interior and one exterior bottom corner, shrinkage cracks with largest on lid top, light scratches and dents to case; case lacks key; lower drawer with cracks on underside, but fits neatly and with working lock. A detailed and elegant traveling dresser in good estate condition despite wear from age and use.
