Late 18th century, pine secondary, blind dovetailed case, hinged slant lid with barber pole banded inlay, loper supports, interior with leather writing surface, eight valanced pigeonholes, central inlaid prospect door with interior pigeonholes and single fitted drawer, flanked by six small drawers, the case with four graduated cock beaded drawers with repeating banded barber pole inlays, shaped bracket foot base.
