Cut and paste full length silhouette of a gentleman in a top hat with his umbrella on a cream board with mark "abridged drawing board" in lower right corner, signed and dated "Frith / 1846." matted and framed under glass in a contemporary but appropriate frame.

Frame dimensions 21 x 14 1/2 in.; sight size 17 3/4 x 11 1/4 in.

The silhouette was most likely done by one of John Frith's sons, Frederick (1819–1871) or Henry Albert (active 1837-1854), who worked in his shop with him.

Small tear to paper margin; some soiling and foxing.
