Late 19th century, Neoclassical style case figuring a nicely cast scene likely of Demeter attended by a putto seated upon a rockwork plinth, with elaborately decorated waisted lozenge base with wheat harvest and scrolling grapevine cast decoration, the center with 4-inch enamel dial behind glass, and brass 8-day time and strike movement signed and numbered

Without pendulum and key; underside with one detached screw and wood brace (present with Lot) with associated looseness; Demeter's right wrist with abrasion; dial with some cracks to enamel at "II" hour marker; scattered rubbing to gilt, with light verdigris to some crevices. Included with the Lot are five foliate cast feet, missing 3 screws.
