Vivian Keens Wharton was an artist living in Reidsville, North Carolina since 1954. She was an etcher and painted in oils, acrylics and watercolors since the age of sixteen. Her paintings were shown at Somerhill Gallery in Chapel Hill and in the collection of Wachovia Bank and Burroughs Wellcome.
