Mid 18th to early 19th century, attributed to Meissen porcelain, Germany, each patch box or bonbonniere, is presented as a lady's head with a black mask, the features painted in pale colors with fine hair delineation, and paste set eyes. The porcelain is mounted with a gilt foliated engraved hinged lid and suspensory loop. Not marked.

Traces of glue residue appear on several eye settings; two largest boxes with some painted restoration to bridge of nose; one larger and second smallest with painted restorations around eyes; two with some glue residue likely from remounting hinge setting; some with superficial soiling; the smallest has a replaced loop; some other restoration possible including obscuring varnish to the three largest.
