Mid 18th century, maple, white pine secondary, two-part form, upper case with five graduated lipped drawers, base with applied molded upper edge above a single long drawer above three side-by-side drawers, the central with relief carved fan, raised on tall cabriole legs with pad feet.

By direct descent from the Cudworth family, Scituate/Norwell Massachusetts. The family home, which is now the home of the Scituate historical society, was once the home of the grandson of Gen. James Cudworth. Passed by direct descent to the Nesbitt, Gile and finally to the Pratt family.
