Susan O’Brien Mclean’s art is inspired by nostalgia for lifestyles she finds are rare today. Though she used to live and work in England, Mclean currently resides in Osterville on Cape Cod, often depicting scenes of children by the sea and the beauty of the Cape.

Mclean has exhibited in London at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, the Pastel Society, and the Royal Portrait Society. In 1994 she was elected a Copley Artist by the Copley Society in Boston. Her work has been exhibited in the Duxbury Art Association, the Cape Museum of Fine Arts, the Cape Cod Art Association, and the Cahoon Museum of American Art.

Good estate condition.
