Catawba Valley, possibly Peter Eddleman (1762-1847), circa 1800, yellow pine and poplar secondary, three part form, dovetailed cornice, desk and bookcase with applied cove molding, the bookcase with two hinged paneled cabinet door with light wood line inlay, molded edge, shelved interior, the desk featuring a lipped hinged lid with loper support, divided interior featuring four drawers and six valanced pigeon holes, the center with a small secret drawer above a deep secret drawer both with inlaid half sunburst, the bottom drawer opens to reveal a false slide with shallow storage compartment, four graduated flush drawers with light wood inlaid and inlaid escutcheon, tall bracket feet.
