New England Chippendale Inlaid Cherry Chest of Drawers

Late 18th century, mahogany veneer, white pine and poplar secondary, top with molded edge and good overhang, four graduated molded and lipped drawers, all with triple line inlay, molded base, shaped dovetailed bracket feet; the top and case sides with bellflower and oval paterae inlays.

32 x 35.5 x 20 in., case width 32 in.

Original feet, good diminutive form.

Later drawer guides; drawer runners rebuilt; pulls are old and in original holes; front right spur replaced.
