Oil on canvas (lined), unsigned, 18th century or earlier, after a view published in 1663 by Olfert Dapper in HISTORISCHE BESCHRYVING DER STADT AMSTERDAM (Historical Description of the City of Amsterdam), this five-volume book included copper plate engravings by Jacob van Meurs after drawings by J. van Veenhuyzen.
