Likely French, late 19th century, silver paint, corkscrew-type press with two handles and two pillars, four holes in base for mounting, 1 7/8 in. between base and platen, the frame with scroll decoration, unmarked.

In working condition although platen raises and lowers unevenly with some warping to central collar, (1) 3-in. hairline to top of base; overall light rusting, rubbing and flaking to paint.
