American, 19th century, cotton and wool, the first with bands of red, navy and brown wool weft forming a checkerboard of red, white, and blue squares featuring various square and lattice designs, center seam (mismatch in pattern where joined), fringe to three sides and one edge hemmed with woven tape, unsigned (stains, wear to fringe, wear and loss to hemmed edge) (5 ft. 8 in. x 7 ft. 2 in. not including fringe); The second in a double-weave of navy and red wool and natural cotton forming a plaid design with large solid navy squares and squares of small diagonal navy squares to front, with border to three edges featuring groups of four pine trees, all edges hemmed, center seam, unsigned (significant wear and loss, some holes, especially to edges) (5 ft. x 6 ft. 2 in.); The third also double weave, the centerfield a "plaid" design of various square motifs in red, navy, and natural, with stylized "trees" border to three sides, with multiple outer borders, fringe to three sides, center seam, unsigned (wear, loss, old repairs in several places, top edge unhemmed and fraying, possibly cut down, discoloration) (5 ft. 8 in. x 7 ft. 2 in.).
