American, 19th century, cotton and wool, the first with repeating design of block grid motif within jagged circle, alternating with four pointed star, border to three sides with stylized trees under arches, center seam, fringe to three edges and top edge hemmed to blue side (areas of staining and wear, some thread loss, discoloration to fringe) (5 ft. 7 in. x 7 ft. 2 in. not including fringe); The second in a grid design with repeating geometric motifs, border to three sides with stylized trees, fringe to three edges and one edge hemmed, center seam (age-appropriate discoloration to natural cotton, some staining, wear and some loss to fringe and hemmed edge) (6 ft. 2 in. x 6 ft. 9 in.); both unsigned.
