American, 19th century, cotton and wool, jacquard, the first in natural cotton and navy wool, the centerfield with repeating large floral medallions divided by smaller floral and snowflake-like motifs, border to all sides with scrolling floral design within minor foliate borders, the corner blocks each with a stylized floral cluster, center seam, top and bottom edge hemmed, unsigned, sewn-on label states "2 x 38" probably referring to size (discoloration, wear and loss to edges, small stains, knot pulls, areas of loss, a few old repairs) (6 ft. 4 in. x 7 ft. 7 in.); The second with a centerfield of repeating floral and foliate clusters, with flying birds, worked in bi-directional bands of red and blue wool on natural ground, major and minor floral and foliate borders to three sides, bottom border different and not aligning with side borders, center seam, top edge hemmed, fringe to three sides, unsigned (discoloration, major loss to fringe, areas of wear and loss, stains) (6 ft. 2 in. x 6 ft. 11 in.); The third...
