American, 19th century, cotton and wool, the first worked in a design of red rosette clusters alternating with navy blue squares, forming an allover "wedding ring" pattern, with border of red and navy ripples, red and navy fringe to three sides, top edge hemmed, center seam, unsigned (staining, wear, loss to fringe, small areas of loss to wool, otherwise good estate condition.) (6 ft. 7 in. x 8 ft. 3 in.); The second with rows of white on white decorative weave squares alternating with rows of navy, red, and white overshot decorative weave squares, with openwork woven fringe, center seam, top edge hemmed, unsigned (discoloration, wear, stains, loss to center seam, loss to wool especially to corners and edges, fringe with areas of significant wear and partially missing from one side) (7 ft. x 7 ft. 6 in.).
